How to incorporate vintage in men’s fashion
Do you love this season when clothing is all about vintage dressing? Then, you’re at the right place. We love vintage trends too. Today, Baaqoo presents some tips to style yourself the retro way of men’s fashion! Have a look at these points to get the best style output as an amalgam of retro and modern dressing.
Retro Shirts
But, before you a grand ol’ vintage binge (or raid your grandpa’s closet), it’s important to work retro pieces with modern ones, and stick to your personal men’s fashion – no imitations. “Fuse the old with the new. It creates a more unique and retro look,” says Reece Crisp, menswear buying manager at Farfetch to Dmarge. “Keep it simple and don’t try to be someone else. Essentially, execute the look using key items that you are into.”
Dress Trousers
Most men have a dress shirt and a pair of dress trousers in their men’s fashion closet. This is the base for retro menswear too. The difference is in the cut of the clothes and the accessories. The 1920s to early 1950s pants were wide leg and high waisted. Wearing a pair of these pants will instantly take you back to the mid-century. You can wear classic fit trousers for a mid-1950s style and even slim-fit trousers will give a ’60s look.
